Our clients were in the middle of a large house renovation and extension when we first visited the property. The client required work on the front garden, entrance to their house as well as the back garden.
The new entrance to their property needed to add a sense of arrival and to provide the clients with a warm welcome home through the planting in the front garden. We had to make sure there was a balance of soft and hard landscaping to make the entrance welcoming to all those visiting.
The back terrace has a more contemporary feel than that of the front. The use of large format porcelain and sharp clean edges crates a sleek modern feel as well as keeping it low maintenance for our clients. The swimming pool area that was added provides an area for the clients and their children to all enjoy in the summer months. The terrace has various areas to relax and a BBQ so that the chef can still socialise with his guests ensuring the area is inclusive, it will be a fully integrated social space which is functional too. Beautiful architectural multi-stem trees create a striking aperture, as well as adding year-round interest.
