A complete blank canvas, this was simply a patch of grass left over from the builder.
The brief was to inject a cottage garden style look, however in a smaller and slightly more structured form. The client’s wish was to open up the view from the Bi-fold doors and to also create a few areas that were more secluded to offer a feeling of initimacy from the neighbouring over-looking windows.
A pergola adds height, structure and hosts a seating area that feels secluded. Beautiful planting adds softness and year long interest, the overall design layout adds so many levels of interest.
A real little oasis for this retired couple to potter in, entertain and most importantly, enjoy.
