KMGD were commissioned to design a trade stand on main avenue at Chelsea Flower Show 2021 by Cashmere Caveman Wild Kitchens.
We designed and created the masterplan, visual perspectives, specified design details and helped with the garden install during build week.
The Cashmere Caveman brand is synonymous with comfort and luxury with the large outdoor tents allowing people to gather, cook, and eat together.
The aim of the Cashmere Caveman stand is to transport you to the grounds of Ashcombe – to encapsulate it’s natural, wild beauty through the selection and placement of materials and native planting. With a strong focus on traditional materials and sustainability – which is a particular passion driven by the Estate - many elements you see on the stand have been provided directly from the Estate.
Ornamental and structural native plant varieties were sourced within the UK. Woodland Tree planting provides cool micro-climates, shelter, and increased Carbon sequestration. All trees and plants used at Chelsea Flower Show have been transported to create a new life at Ashcombe.
Our design vision was to ensure that every visitor is able to explore each carefully considered detail – from the sustainably sourced timber planks, subtle water feature and copper in-lays in the boundary fencing. The design encourages visitors to embrace the feeling that is Ashcombe Estate and the comfortable familiarity that the rustic outdoor cooking experience embodies – with, of course, that extra touch of luxury which is “Cashmere Caveman”.
