Jungle Courtyard, Tonbridge

Project Location: Tonbridge, Kent.

Client Brief: To transform an unused courtyard area. The courtyard had beautiful existing yorkstone & an established wisteria that were to be retained. Keep the natural, traditional features whilst injecting bold design & style to the courtyard to make it more useable and an attractive area of the garden to escape to. In order to achieve this, the original Yorkstone paving was retained, but with a simple “switch up” to re-invigorate what was an overgrown and unloved area of the grounds. Various slabs were removed on the perimeter, to create more pockets of planting to allow for a more verdant vibe to the courtyard which can be appreciated from both inside and outside the property.
